Little Wonders Learning Center Offers E-Newsletter

Busy Parents Can Now Gain Insight to Their Child's Care and Receive Parenting Tips Every Week through Email

October 21, 2002 -- Little Wonders Learning Center takes child development into the 21st century by offering insight to their progressive educational techniques, parenting and childcare tips, as well as pictures and information for parents whose children are enrolled at Little Wonders, through a new weekly email newsletter.

Entitled "Wonder, Investigate, Discover" after the Little Wonders' motto, this newsletter will take advantage of the immediacy of email to inform parents of their child's progress and development on a regular basis through pictures and features of their work.

Included in the newsletter:

bulletTips on how to select a good child care center
bulletAdvice on how to deal with difficult children, and positively encourage children for healthy mental development
bulletInsight to child psychology and why Little Wonders' staff does not believe in negative reinforcement
bulletAnd more...

Through the newsletter, Little Wonders hopes to encourage parents to get more frequently involved with their child's care center, as well as enhance communication between parents and their childcare center, regardless of whether it's their center or not. To Nikou Fatemizadeh, Director of Little Wonders, each child is the utmost priority; and ensuring they--and their parents--receive the best guidance ultimately benefits us all.

Little Wonders Learning Center,  which opened this past January, has received great reviews from local newspapers and neighborhood parents who appreciate the personalized attention to care and education their children receive at the Center. With a Master's Degree in Education and almost 30 years of experience working with children and training preschool teachers in Europe and the United States, Nikou Fatemizadeh has developed a program that closes follows the pihlosophy behind the newsletter: "Wonder, Investigate, Discover."

As one mother has raved: "I asked my son what he learned today, and he told me, 'Nikou taught me to use my words and not my hands when I get angry'...I started to cry! My son is behaving like an adult, and he's only four. I hope you will always be around--I couldn't imagine taking my son anywhere else!"
